Spices are the key to new flavours that delight the palates; health and wellness that supports the life on earth. Spices form an important component of the Indian agri-exports. India is the single largest producer and exporter of wide range of spices by catering to the spice requirements of more than 145 countries. Sustaining production and promoting the intrinsic qualities of the indigenous Indian spices are of great importance. Safeguarding the legacy and supremacy of Indian spices, emphasis is on increasing the production, capacity building and optimum utilization of available resources.

Spices Board works towards the inclusive development of the Indian spice industry, protecting the interest of farmers, traders, exporters, and all other stakeholders with added thrust on quality and food safety.
