Spice Park - Jodhpur, Rajasthan
Government of Rajasthan has allotted 60 acres land in Rampura Bhatia of Jodhpur district free of cost for establishing the Spices Park project for Seed Spices. Being Rajasthan is the leading producers of Seed Spices like Cumin and Coriander, the Board had established a full-fledged Spices Park for processing and value addition of Seed Spices especially for Cumin. This is the first Park, developed by the Board in association with private entrepreneurs. In spices Park, Jodhpur the Board had allotted land to the entrepreneurs for developing their own processing units with an aim to encourage the local farming/trading community into export business of Spices.

Warehouse, Administrative & Lab Building and Processing Plant
Basic infrastructure facilities established
The common infrastructure facilities established includes Road, drain, uninterrupted power and water supply, in addition to the processing facility for Seed spices and Steam Sterilisation. Being the largest producer, the Board had established sufficient warehouses in Spices Park at Jodhpur. The detailed component of the facilities established are as follows

Water Treatment Plant: In order to ensure uninterrupted supply of water in the Park, an overhead tank of capacity two lakhs litter is established. Moreover, a water treatment plant will be established to ensure safe drinking water.
Other facilities: Fully computerized Pit Type Weighbridge of 50 T capacity & Fork Lift for transportation of materials from building to building and in the inside of the Park
COMMON PROCESSING FACILITES & WAREHOUSE
The common processing facility and warehouses, the Board has entrusted M/s.SRK Spices Pvt Ltd., Jodhpur as the operator for its functioning and the facilities are functioning well.
Processing facilities for Seed Spices: A full line processing facility for Seed Spices is established in the Park. The capacity of the processing plant installed is of 2 Tons per hour. The facilities included are Pre-cleaning, Grading, Color sorting, Grinding and Packing etc. The packing facility included in the processing line provide both bulk and consumer pack of 25 gm, 50gm & 100 gm. Major Machinery involved in the process are Precision Air Classifier, Screen Grader, Gravity Separator, Pressure and Vacuum Destoner, Debeader, Metal detector, Color Sorter, Roaster, Grinding System, Packing Machines etc.
Sterilization Unit: Board established a sterilization facility with a capacity of 250 Kg per hour in batch process.
Warehousing Facilities: 6 numbers of Warehouses are being established for storing of both the raw materials and finished products. Pallet Truck facility for transportation of materials within the Warehouse is also available. The details of the warehousing facilities available are as follows:
- Raw Material warehouse: Two raw material Warehouse established exclusively for Coriander having area of 700 sq. meters each.
- Raw Material warehouse: Two raw material Warehouse for Seed Spices other than coriander having area of 800 sq. meters each.
- Finished Warehouse: Two finished product Warehouse for Seed Spices Other than Coriander having an area of 800 sq. Meters each.
ASSOCIATION WITH PRIVATE ENTREPRENEURS
The Board has allotted 23 plots in the Park to 19 entrepreneurs for developing their own processing unit. Out of the 19 entrepreneurs 4 of them already completed the establishment and started the business and the construction of another 8 units are in progress. The Board had already initiated steps to speed up the work related to the establishment of unit by the land allottees and issued notice to all those who had not started the construction of the units to complete the establishment by March, 2022
