Spices Board regularly conducts buyer-seller meetings, seminars, trainings and awareness
programmes for the benefit of farmers, exporters and entrepreneurs both on online
platforms as well as offline.
Spices Board with a view to promote the
export of spices and spice products,
has been organizing Buyer Seller Meets (BSM), so as to provide a
common platform for the Buyers and Sellers
of the spice industry, to interact directly and establish effective
business linkages. BSMs offer a win-win
situation to both the growers and exporters wherein the growers get
a market for their produce along with
remunerative returns, whereas the exporters find it beneficial in
terms of establishing long term backward
linkages for competitive sourcing of quality spices as well as to
strengthen trade tie ups with leading
spice importers across the world. The International Buyer Seller
Meets (IBSM) are organized in association
with the Indian Missions in the respective countries, with the
active participation of trade support
institutions, regulatory bodies etc of the respective country. The

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (EDP)
Spices Board, so as to attract, motivate
and equip the progressive stakeholders to enter into the spices
business, has been organizing Entrepreneurship Development Training
Programmes (EDP), involving participants from across India. The main
purpose of the programme is to sensitize and educate the
participants on various aspects of the spice export sector,
including export documentation & procedure, quality and safety
standards, regulatory requirements for exports, international
marketing, export logistics, analyzing export data and trends, etc.
