Spices Park at Kota, Rajasthan
The Government of Rajasthan has allotted 30 acres of land in Ramganj Mandi of Kota district free of cost in Sept, 2010 to the Board for establishing Spices Park. The Spices Park at Kota is meant for processing and value addition of Seed Spices especially for Coriander & Cumin. The Park is established at a total cost of Rs.15.00 crore. The Spices Park is providing infrastructure facilities to individual entrepreneurs to set up their own spices processing units with organized common facilities of power, water, communication, waste disposal system etc. Besides, a common facility for cleaning, grading, packing and storing of seed spices has already established through Public Private Partnership mode.

Basic infrastructure facilities established
Board has developed basic infrastructures facilities like internal Roads, Water supply system, Power stations, Firefighting & Control systems, Weighing bridges, effluent Treatment Plants, Quality Lab for checking basic parameters, Bank & Post office counters, canteen facilities, Business centers etc.

Establishment of Common Processing units through PPP model
In Spices Park, Kota, the Board has established the processing plant in an area of 9 acres through Public Private Partnership mode and operate the facilities for its full capacity on 24X7 basis. M/s. Eastern Condiments, has been entrusted to establish a state of the art plant and machinery in the Spice Park at Kota by investing around Rs.13.00 crore worth of plant and machinery in the plant building of the Board. The establishment of the processing facilities and collection centers by M/s.Eastern Condiments at Kota has created a huge impact and employment opportunity for the local and in that part of the country, since their annual requirement of raw material is more than 50,000 tons. The farming community in that part of the country can make use of this facility to sell their produce by avoiding the traditional supply chain system through local traders which will ensure premium price to the farmers and sustained supply to the M/s Eastern Condiments Pvt. Ltd.

The Spices Park is providing infrastructure facilities to individual entrepreneurs to set up their own spices processing units with organized common facilities of power, water, communication, waste disposal system, etc. besides a common facility for cleaning, grading, packing and storing. The Board has divided into 13 plots of in an area 14.14 Acres available in the Park allotted to 12 Spices Exporters for 30 years on lease basis for developing their own processing units in the Park.
